According to my parents, I was singing by the time I was 2 years old. Years later I joined the school choir and was chosen to perform a solo in my sophomore year ……then I was hooked! I was thrilled to audition and get a solo again in my junior and senior year. After getting married to my high school sweetheart, Dave, he convinced me to start singing with a band. I joined “ High Range Road” and we performed all over New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

A few years later I performed at “Aerosmith’s Club” in Boston, Massachusetts; which was by invitation only. Another very exciting time for me was when I was chosen to perform in the “Top 20 Vocalist Show” at the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, Massachusetts. (Many celebrities have performed on this particular stage). Just the incredible sound system was a thrill.

My family then moved to Texas for a year and I was thrilled to perform at different Opry Houses throughout Fort Worth, Texas as well as “Johnnie High’s” (where LeAnn Rimes performed).

We moved to Mississippi in 1997 and made a couple of trips to Nashville where I recorded a demo. My young daughter was too upset at the thought of mom traveling……..it was breaking my heart, so I never distributed the CD……(sorry Dave – I know you put so much effort into my career, I will “never forget” your support)!

I started working for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 1999. I basically put my singing aside and started another career. Who knew they’d have a band at work! After auditioning for SEHT, I was excited to become part of this talented band in late 2004.
