ericI picked up guitar at 11 in Newport, RI. The ol’ Mel Bay ‘Love me Tender’ guitar method, I think. Learned much from my twin brother, Don, who is an incredible keyboardist/ composer, with which we co-wrote some great tunes for family parties: Sorry I Ate Your Cat for Breakfast, Eldorado, Portuguese on Mopeds, Turn Away, I Need You (Like I Need Another Hole in My Head).

Early inspirations were Hendrix, Church, Squeeze, and Pat Metheny. Played in some great bands all thru Catholic high school: The Realm, The Essentials, and Rhythm Method. Played in school church group, and a couple of local theatre productions.

At University Of Rhode Island in the early 90s, joined Johnny Quahog and the Llamas, a fun college party band, which played many a frat party, bar, or lighthouse. Some of those members have gone on to some big stuff, musically: Stephen Hero, Carolines Spine, MK Ultra.

Joined SEHT in 2002, as a way to volunteer at St. Jude events. Took up bass in addition to guitar, and have loved the opportunity to give back time and talent for the kids at St. Jude.
