Brent Chalker was born in Texarkana, Texas in 1966, to Delta and Bennie Chalker. At the age of 13 Brent began his career playing in the school band. One day while shopping with his mother he came across a shiny set of drums. he begged his mother to buy them and in that tiny music store, in Texarkana Texas, is where the story begins. He first started playing in the living room of his parent's house while they were at work, listening to music trying to get all four limbs going at the same time. This was Brent's start at carving out his style and love for percussion. He played with many bands through school--"Viper","Lawton Brooks Band",and "Mesa" to name a few.

After High school he started touring with a band called "The Shooters". While playing with them they began to tour with Glenn Campbell and Lee Greenwood. After a year on tour, Brent knew it was time to come home. He began his studies at the University of Central Arkansas, was married and divorced while playing music around the central Arkansas area. Brent received a call from an old friend to go to work in Memphis. After five years of not playing music, he had the itch once again to get back into his music. Brent later formed the band "Po White Trash" with his high school buddy, Clay Franklin. They played, wrote and produced the self-titled album "Po White Trash" in 2003.

Brent has a love for music and the kids as well as St Jude, and is always willing to step up to the plate when he gets the call.
